So over the long winter vacation, I finished this anime. I really do not know what made me watch this now, but I'm safe to say that its was good.
The story starts out as a pretty interesting mystery involving a number of murders and a high school boy who believes he has witnessed one of them and is being fed information about future killings before they happen. The boy is Takumi, a severely disturbed and socially awkward individual who is terrorized by delusions and paranoia. The plot feels genuinely creepy at times but doesn’t manage to sustain this over the course of the entire series. Because of Takumi's delusions the viewer is not always sure what is real or what isn’t. It does take some significant detours and while it’s not the smartest thing I have ever seen, in my opinion it managed to be interesting through the end. However one might feel about how the story changed focus over the course of the show, I did feel that it ended very nicely with most of the loose ends tied off.
Takumi's characters is very... how would i put this? Interesting in a way that makes you laugh. He's pretty psycho if you ask me for the majority of the anime. Throughout the whole anime, he constantly questions his thoughts and is always feeling like he is being watched by someone. Which was amusing and made the anime really interesting.
So I would rate this anime 7/10. the plot itself was interesting but i felt like it could've been longer for the anime to explain more. Characters in the anime was really likable though. So it was worth the watch.

My First Cardfight Vanguard Sneak Peek! Blog #9
So 2 weeks ago, I've joined my first Cardfight Vanguard sneak peek event. It was very exciting. but first, Cardfight vanguard is a card-game. It's something similar to the card-game Yu-gi-oh, but in my opinion, better. (Click here for more info.) A sneak peek is an event where players pay 20$ and get five packs a month earlier then the release date. Also, you have the choice of enter a free tourney and have the chances to win some cool stuff such as a play mat or more packs. It's really fun because you get to meet all these new players who also plays. The reason why I joined this sneak peak is because I'm planning to make a new deck that will be in this box set. The deck that I'll be making is with a group of cards called Genesis. I was really looking forward to making this deck since summer vacation. So I'm very glad and again, excited, that I can finally make this deck!!

Manga Recommendation: Beelzebub! Blog #8
This will be one of the many manga recommendation I will be doing. I know that not all of you are into reading manga but you should all try it out! Sure you might not be interested with the type of manga i read but there ought to be one out there that should really fit you. But first, to those who doesn't know what a manga is, is basically a comic created in Japan. The manga that I'll be talking about (shown above) is one of my favourite manga called Beelzebub.
I started reading Beelzebub at the beginning of last year. It was something my uncle kept bugging me to read. First I thought how bad it looked because the main character (in the blue and white jacket). But man, how I was wrong to judge a book by its cover. The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent" as he watches over the demon king's son (the future demon king) with the destruction of the world hanging in the balance. Sure it sounds really serious, but believe me, this manga is seriously funny. In my opinion, there is more comedy than there is to serious business. But not too much to push aside the main points. The fighting scenes in here is really top noche. this is the perfect shonen manga! The series is still ongoing (latest chapter is 230) but i highly recommend this. I'm sure you will not regret it.

Something That I'm Thinking About... Blog #6
I've been thinking about this for awhile now. I've been thinking if I should buy myself an arcade stick? For those who do not know what it is. It's basically a controller with just one stick and about 6-8 buttons, depending on what type it is. Anyway, I've always wanted to get one ever since I started playing fighting games. Up to this point I have been fine with just a pad controller (the regular PS3 controller). But nowadays, tournaments and places where I play have been playing on the Xbox 360 systems which you can't normally use a PS3 controller unless you have some sort of adapter. Now that I'm getting competitive, I thought that if I were to learn and use an arcade stick, It'll be much more simple to just plug and play and to not hassle with all those adapters. But these arcade sticks are not cheap at all. The prices pretty much range from the $100 to $200 depending on the type and quality. Here are some sticks that I am considering:

One of my favorite RPGs: Persona 3 Blog #5
Persona 3: FES (PS2)
Developed by Atlus
Published by Atlus
Released on April 22, 2008
Persona 3: FES is one of the best RPGs I had ever played . Many would agree with me on this. I was always fond with the Persona Series. But Persona 3 made a really big impact to me and helped me be the person I am now. Persona 3 is a strategy turn-based game where it require one to think to defeat the so call "shadows" that appears each night during the dark hour at a massive tower that is called Tartarus. The Protagonist, which is the character that you will be naming and using, is silent aside from technically speaking in battle in certain instances. While being a silent protagonist, he is very stoic, reserved, and calm, gathered by the fact that he remains unmoved when guns are pointed at him. His personality is being distant to others since he only observes the conversations of his party members and only speaks when someone is directed at him for his opinion on the matter. His personality is ultimately based on the player's actions and decisions. The goal of this game is you along with nine others, have to climb and reach a certain floor each night and to defeat the boss of that floor. Sounds easy? I would have to say no. There are some bosses that can kill your whole team with just one attack. In my opinion, the game runs all around luck. You'll be lucky if you dodge those one turn kill attacks. I remember when I did. Man what a good feeling that was. So I'll stop here and not go into detail but it is a really good game and I highly recommend it!

A (late) Hanasaku Iroha Review Blog #4
Sorry for this really late blog. College stuff really is a hassle. So please enjoy this review!
To start things of, Hanasaku Iroha, im proud to say, is the best anime of the season. The development of the characters was just incredible. The songs are really catchy, The art is superb, and did i mention that the humor was surprisingly good?
This anime gives you this kind of mix feeling while watching each episode. One time you could be mad at the situation or feel bad about it and can weep for days. (well, for me that is...) But it'll want you to continue to watch more and can drive you insane for the next episode. Throughout the anime, you will have those moments where you can hear yourself giggling or laughing out loud. The comedy here in the anime comes where you least expect it which is a good thing. The word "Hobiron" kept me going for days with a smile on my face and that expression on Ohana's face, priceless. "the best things come when you least expect them too" right?
The art was really splendid. The scenery of each place tells how much effort the creators put into the anime. It's like all the beautiful painting coming together and creating this one big masterpiece. Also the inserted songs blended in so well with the art and the timing of the scenes. The inserted songs really was a good add showing either what is happening or what the few episode afterward is going to be about. When you start listening to the inserted songs in the anime, you'll feel an impact in your heart and just want to cry. A really emotional anime basically.
The situational scenes as in characters getting into conflicts really develop the story. It could change a character thought and feeling toward one another which help the characters in Hanasaku grow. One time they'll be getting into a fight, then later you'll see them make up. The characters do have those little fights in between, but it show how life really is like. It also show life's problem, as in living with a parent who doesn't support you as much as other parents, or being alone and working when you are young. You might hate it in the beginning but you have to grow up sometime and take responsibilities. Everyone have a certain age to grow up even though you're not an adult.
To sum up this review, Hanasaku was a really good "Slice of life" anime. This anime always make me think about life and the future. Thinking, "what i should do from now on" and "what i should be taking granted for". Not all children are as lucky as the others. Also this anime shows me to keep believing in my dream. Too never give up on it and to live it out to the finest. Keeping you dream alive is what helps you throughout life. Guiding you to what makes you happy. This anime show that if you work as hard as you can, and to make un-breakable bonds with the people you love, There will be nothing to fear about losing your dreams. You will have those sad moments, But please, make the best you can and always enjoy you life to the fullest! Bonboru~

Swap two other pieces, and voila, you have what sure seems like an endless supply of chocolate. I'm still kind of mind blown as I am writing this. If you do not like to look at the gif, you can see how it is done in this picture:

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen Review Blog #2

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-hen (The World God Only Knows: Goddesses Arc). Is the third installment of this series, many fans who haven't read the manga should probably be expecting what is to be expected of this series. This review is literally after I finished the series.
Story: For those of you who haven't seen or heard of this series, the world god only knows is the story of a gamer who is forced to make girls fall in love with him in order to capture loose souls, forcing them out of the girls' hearts in order to be captured. However, the story of this series is similar, but very different. The story of the Megami-hen series revolves around Keima as his usual self, capturing goddesses, not loose souls. Because of this he must go back to his previous "capture targets" and figure out if they are hosting a goddess within them. And because the whole plethora of girls is dwindled down to 6, it becomes a proper harem rather then the deconstruction that it's always been.
Characters: Keima, as the main protagonist, is a visual novel lover. Instead of actually giving a damn about the girls he conquers irl or in-game, his only purpose is to "get to the ending", which if you've played visual novels, means the girl falls in love with you. Though his character has pretty much remained unchanged throughout the whole span of TWGOK, this season adds a twist, making him reconsider the ways he's actually treating these girls. Next, Haqua. Yes, I know Elsie is in this series, but she barely plays a significant role. With her introduction to the anime in the second season, Haqua is a character from Hell and plays a very good supporting role. Her character is fairly well rounded as she plays a significant role in capturing said goddess'. As a tsundere, well, it's pretty obvious. However, what makes her such a great character, is her reintroduction later in the season after disappearing for some time. Because of this, she becomes more of a badass and becomes somewhat of a different character altogether, in a good way. (Personally, she's my favorite character of the whole series). And finally, Chihiro. As one of the previous capture targets in the second season, it's expected that she would play a generic role. However, she does more then that. As one of the only girls in this series that have an actual somewhat real personality, she is the main influence on Keima which results in him regretting what decisions he has made in the past. Because she somewhat understands what is going on in the last few episodes, Keima's and herself get huge character development and become incredibly stand-out characters.
Animation and Sound: Oh, where to begin. The animation in TWGOK is fantastic as always, simplifying itself to a chibi whenever it wants, and creating incredibly detailed scenes whenever it wants also. For example, closeups with Keima, and Chihiro's final scene in the series. Because of the addition of goddesses, the animation for their wings and individual feathers were superb at the least. Especially in the final episode. But for the most part, the animation is well done, with a few "skippy" scenes here and there. One scene in particular in the final episode where there is some, awkward instrument playing. But in hindsight, it can be overlooked. The sound, oh yes, another thing to be giddy about. The soundtrack for this series is usually pretty stand-out. This season did not disappoint. As always, they try to put in some "heavenly" tones and some techno sounds whenever they do an opening, but this time, they went over the top! The opening itself has very well done pictures and the music sounds so godly and fantastic that it is truly one of a kind. It also has a surprising amount of english words within itself. The ending on the other hand has a more somber feel to it. While the pictures in the ending are practically all the same, the sound of the ending is very calm and very rewarding sounding. It's happy, it's sad, and overall, great.
Personal enjoyment: I have always loved the TWGOK series. Ever since I started, I have never been able to leave it alone. When I first saw the premise of this season, I was surprised how much the series switched in terms of plot. Luckily, it was a good switch rather then a really bad one. (SAO) The series itself really puts the main character in situations which he's not used to, and allows much more character development which for this character, is much needed. As a personal fan, I'm debating over if this series should get another sequel or not because, this series ends on such a note that it can actually end right here and now. But on the other hand, there is so much more potential to be discovered and it really puts me at a standstill. However, as a personal complaint, the last episode, sort of rushed. The first half of the episode was fantastic and at its peak, but the second half sort of died down too fast. All of the possible action bits and goddess magic was squeezed into a 5 minute time-frame, which is a bit of a let-down. Nonetheless, TWGOK is one of the most well known harem animes out there, and if you are a fan like me, I would highly recommend this to you. But know this, in order to watch this season in specific, the other 2, plus the Tenri-hen OVA's must be watched first. It is the only way to know what exactly is going on here.
